There is also a specification for the dredger and instructions that it should be supplied for the dock company's extension at Tilbury. In addition to this there is a drawing giving a general arrangement of the vessel. There is a handwritten note on the front stating that this referrers to the dredger Tilbury. An agreement between the East and West India Dock Company and Messrs Day Summers and Company for the supply of an iron screw tug boat, dated 23rd October 1885. Also included are two specifications, the first relating to the construction of the vessel and the second the construction of its steam engines. There is a handwritten note on the front stating that this became the tug Hornet and that it was scrapped in 1924.
